About[]

Bea, Prairie, Peanut, Pickles, and Crumbs try to recreate and experience a Wild West book, but they end up "writing" a whole new story. Ace builds a clown car for Elephant.

Summary[]

The episode starts off at Bea's house, where she is reading a Wild West book called The Rip-Roaring Adventures of Bella Star and the Curly Kid. It's so exciting that Bea reads it again. She visualizes herself as Bella Star, the title character, Curly Kid, the sidekick as Prairie and the cattle rustler, Dastardly Delilah as Crumbs. Sitting on a log, Bea wishes she could be a cowgirl like Bella Star, so she seeks advice from Prairie.

Bea thinks she read the book, since Prairie is a cowgirl, but she hasn't. Bea explains that she would like to recreate the book and Prairie accepts. Bea says she'll be Bella Star and Prairie will be the Curly Kid, and Cactus and Owl can be the cattle. With that said, they start the journey.

At Peanut's house, she is putting a clown nose on Elephant and explains it's part of a surprise, his own clown car! Peanut wants him to take a ride, but he's too big to fit inside. When she succeeds, Elephant is squished. Peanut then reminds him to wear a seatbelt. Before Peanut can teach him how to drive it, he doesn't pay attention and drives away instead. He drives like crazy and then crashes into a bush. Peanut says Elephant needs help.

Bea says she needs a hat and lasso so she can emulate Bella. Prairie pulls a hat and lasso out of her pack. Bea tries to lasso but ties herself up. There's no time to learn how to lasso, and Dastardly Delilah is hot on their tail. Since Prairie doesn't see any villains, Bea says that they will have to find one.

Peanut later goes to Ace to ask him to make the car easier for Elephant to drive. Ace says yes and tells Monkey to get the tool box.

Meanwhile, Prairie and Bea go to Crumbs' house, and she says she'll bake treats for the cattle ride. Then, Bea tells Crumbs that she can play Delilah. When Crumbs asks what does she do, Bea demonstrates by putting on a black hat, cape, and mustache, then doing Delilah's evil laugh. But when Crumbs tries to do the evil laugh, it doesn't sound villainous at all. Bea tells Crumbs she has to steal the cattle while Bella and Curly aren't looking, and she tells her about the big showdown. Crumbs then offers to bring treats during the showdown.

Next, the girls need a covered wagon for all their supplies. So they go to Peanut's circus to get one, but it's not covered like Bella's wagon. Peanut uses a purple cover to cover the wagon, and it looks just like the one in the book. Just then, Pickles B.L.T. and Hot Dog arrive to give Peanut and Elephant the pickle shakes and pickle burgers they ordered. Peanut asks if it comes with a side of pickles, and Pickles says yes. Now, all Bea needs are horses, but the hobbyhorses are the only ones that Prairie has. Luckily, she has a great idea. The girls have Pickles and Peanut under a blanket with the hobbyhorse head and a mop for the tail, and they try galloping.

Bea shows Crumbs the picture of Four Cactus Peak on the map where she'll steal the cattle. Then, she tells Crumbs not to forget Delilah's evil laugh, but Crumbs giggles. Bea tells Crumbs to work on it. Crumbs, breaking character, says "Bye-bye" and "See you all at Four Cactus Peak!" Bea reminds Crumbs that she's supposed to act dastardly.

Bea tries to hop on the horse, but the blanket flops over. Prairie suggests they should walk, but Bea says that Bella Star would never go anywhere without a horse to ride on. So Pickles use her roller skates and pulls the cattle while Bea tries to get the pets to come along by saying "Yah-yah!" and "Get along, little doggie!" But the animals just stand there, so Bea whistles and tells them to follow her, and so they do.

Meanwhile, Ace has already taken all the pieces out of Elephant's car and must figure out a way for him to drive more easier. Suddenly, an idea pops into his head. He thinks about building a remote control.

The girls are riding across the dessert, and Bea feels just like Bella Star. They have made it to the river. Bea says they could make daring river crossings like in the story, but Prairie wonders how can they do it.

Ace has finished building the remote control for Elephant's car, but Monkey asks him about the leftover pieces. Ace claims they don't need it now that he has built the remote control. He then has Monkey climb inside. When Ace pulls the joystick forward, an ejector seat pops Monkey out of the car and sends her flying into the sky. Monkey ends up landing in a nearby tree while Ace goes back to work.

Back at the river, Bea is going to use her rope to get across it. Prairie suggests it would be easier to get across the bridge, but Bea says that's not how Bella did it in the book. After she misses three times, Bea finally manages to lasso across the river with Owl's help. Bea and Prairie use the rocks to get across while Peanut walks on the rope with the pets on her head and Pickles and Hot Dog use the bridge with the wagon.

Ace removes the ejector seat off Elephant's car, and Monkey hops inside again. Ace moves the joystick forward, but the car goes backwards. When he moves the joystick backwards, the ejector seat pops out Monkey, who lands in the tree again.

Meanwhile, the deputies have arrived at Four Cactus Peak, but Prairie only sees three cactuses. Prairie's Cactus fills in the spot of the missing fourth cactus, and Bea states that Dastardly Delilah is lurking about. Then, they hear Crumbs call out, "Yoo-hoo, it's me, Crumbs! I mean Dastardly Delilah! Hee Hee Hee!" Prairie says that Crumbs still has to practice her evil laugh. When Bea says that they have to hide the cattle before Dastardly Delilah arrives, Peanut suggests they can hide them in the chuckwagon, and Bea loves that idea.

Crumbs and Mouse pop out of the cacti, and Bea shouts, "Don't come near my cattle, Dastardly Delilah! You better get while the getting is good!" Confused, Crumbs believes it's an inconvenient time to take the cattle and says that she can come back some time later. Bea then states that's only what Bella Star says in the book. Crumbs reveals she brought snacks for the cowpokes, and everyone except Bea rush over and eat her treats. Crumbs asks Bea when she should leave with the cattle, and Bea says whenever she's done with the snack break. The cattle hop on the wagon, and they wave goodbye with Crumbs. Prairie suggests to Bea that they should count to 100 and give Crumbs a head start.

Ace has just finished working on Elephant's clown car and is about to give it one more test. Monkey, who has got pillows on her sides and a helmet on, is about to hop on the car. However, Ace tells Monkey that since Elephant's clown car now works on remote control, she doesn't have to sit on the driver seat. Monkey is relieved and hides behind the toolbox. Ace moves the joystick and the car finally works well, so Ace declares he has earned a cold drink and a break for his hard work. Ace has Monkey put the remote someplace for safekeeping. Monkey decides to leave it inside the clown car.

Crumbs and the cattle arrive at her house. Since the animals have had a long day, they have earned some treats and get to relax on some pillows. Crumbs gives the pets some drinks, but since Cactus doesn't need much water, Mouse drinks it for Cactus. Crumbs exclaims that even a dastardly villain should be a good hostess, and the pets agree.

Meanwhile, the cowgirls are getting closer to their cattle, and Prairie finally spots Crumbs with their cattle. Crumbs, once again breaking her villainous character, calls out and asks the girls if they want milk and cookies. Bea refuses and tells Crumbs that they're making a plan to distract her, and Crumbs wishes them good luck. While Pickles and Peanut distract Crumbs, Bea and Prairie sneak inside and try to get the pets to move out. The pets shake their heads, and Prairie tells them they shouldn't spoil Bea's special day, so the pets move out. Crumbs appears and Bea shows her that in the book, Bella Star uses her rope to trap Dastardly Delilah inside her cave. But since there is no big rock or cave, Crumbs suggests she crawl under the table so Bea can trap her. After she does so, Crumbs at last performs her line and evil laugh correctly and gives the girls some cookies for the road.

As the girls walk, they have a long way to go to the range, but Prairie tells Bea she has the map upside down, now realizing that the trip home actually could take a long, long time. Hearing this, the exhausted animals hop into Elephant's clown car with Monkey on the top and drive off. When the girls figure out the pets are missing, Bea believes that Dastardly Delilah kidnapped them again and points out that wasn't in the book. Suddenly, the girls see the pets stuck inside Elephant's clown car. Pickles states she didn't know Elephant can drive, but Peanut reveals he can't. The girls must rescue them!

The cowpokes can't keep up because the clown car is going too fast. The car runs thorough the tires near Ace's garage, and the girls dodge them. Ace comes outside and asks what's going on, and Peanut tells him that the clown car is out of control. Ace sees the car drive past and says that Monkey can't handle the remote. Pickles tells Bea she can borrow her skates, but Bea is reluctant, knowing that Bella never uses skates in the book. Nevertheless, she and Prairie use them to catch up.

Suddenly, buttons come out of the car, but the girls dodge them. The car runs through the bridge, causing it to fall apart. The girls use the lasso and swing over the bridge. Bea has to think what Bella Star would do to stop the car, and she gets an idea. She uses her trusty cowgirl lasso to grab the car, but it starts to tug Bea until she gets the rope tied to a tree. Finally, the car stops, and Monkey is launched up into the sky before landing in front of Ace.

Luckily, the pets are okay, and Pickles exclaims she has never seen anyone roller skate like that before. Even though it was not the adventure Bea expected, she still enjoyed it. Prairie loved the adventure in spite of it not playing out like it did in the book, which gives Bea an idea.

At Bea's library, she shows the other kids her very own story she wrote chronicling their awesome adventures. Prairie says unique is an understatement, and everyone laughs. Peanut asks if the book has a title. Bea reveals the book is called "The Rip-Roaring Tire Rolling Roller Skating Adventures Of Bea, Prairie, Crumbs, Pickles, Peanut and The Pampered Pets!" Everyone starts laughing as the episode ends.
